A favourite close relation of our double knitting yarn Conntraigh, spun, plied and coned but not had a final wash to remove the carding oil. Also there will be knots and slight imperfections but if you're looking for the yarn equivalent of taking your pencil for a walk then a mighty cone of Conntraigh DK is perfect.
