Uist Wool is located in the village of Scotvein on the southern shoreline of Grimsay with views across the water to Benbecula and South Uist.

Easily accessible by road and open throughout the year, the Mill and Wool Centre is the base for Uist Wool and an exciting new addition to the cultural map for visitors to the Outer Hebrides.

The Mill and Wool Centre shares the same croft as the original Grimsay Boatshed and this connection to a traditional working craft unites the link between the past and the present – returning specialist industry and an appreciation of contemporary craft making to the island.
