With the subtlety of a neap tide, Conntraigh laps the shallow sands and turns again before reaching the high strand line.
As the sister yarn to Reothart spring tide, Conntraigh neap tide creates a similar ombre effect when knitted, blending subtly from pale, ice-cool grey into a dark, blue-slate grey and back again.
Making the most out of the unique nature of our refurbished carding machinery, we use different blends of dark and white fleece at precise intervals to create this amazing effect with stunning results.
A fantastic yarn for a stripey sweater or a more subtle hat. It also looks fantastic in our own Seawrack sweater!

Mary Ann –
I love this yarn that I bought while on holiday in Scotland. I also love the story of its production. It seemed to be screaming to be made into cables so I knit a reversible cable scarf for my husband, a great memory of a remarkable trip to a magical land.
